Brevard Seniors Search the Web for Services

Seniors on the Web
Living in Florida, I am always amazed at the number of senior citizens who make up my local demographic. Having parents that are members of the geriatric group, I have often been astounded at some of the hurdles they must jump through just to find senior service providers in their local area. I was also rather astonished to find that my parents, as well as hundreds of seniors like them, use the internet to locate what they want or need.
In a recent conversation with my mother, I was disturbed to discover that she had spent several hours weeding through search results to locate a provider in her area, and source the specific items she needed. Although much less expensive than driving around going from pharmacy to pharmacy, or making numerous calls from her mobile phone, the web search process exhausted her.

In an attempt to help her out, I stumbled upon the Brevard Senior Directory online and have now added it to her bookmarks. This resource, specifically focused to Brevard seniors, is a powerful directory of every service imaginable in a simple to use database. All that is required for a person to do is select a service category to conduct a search.  They can further limit the results obtained by also filtering by city.
Just like any other web-based search engine or directory, use of the search is absolutely free, which is a big plus for those living on fixed incomes. Better yet, this comprehensive online directory contains data for every type of service possible, from hair dressers to physical therapists, pharmacies to travel agencies, even pet services such as dog sitting and grooming establishments. Every service a senior could imagine requiring is listed in the directory!
I wondered how the search service operates without charging seniors anything for using their site.  Come to find out, the businesses listed there may list for free, but also have the option to expand their listing, add graphics, links and promote their companies by purchasing a paid listing option. With a little comparison shopping on marketing costs, the fees charged by the Brevard Senior Directory are extremely affordable.  The free listings and the low prices for the premium listings are surely one of the reasons why the BSD is so comprehensive and inclusive.
My parents are so enthralled with the ease of use - they have shared the BSD link with all their friends in the Brevard senior community. To have instant access to a directory of services targeted to seniors with just a few keystrokes and mouse clicks has made searching for local services simple and uncomplicated. Mom and dad are both in agreement, they’ll turn to the Brevard Senior Directory every time they need to locate a product supplier or service provide within the Brevard senior community.
